NOMA Book Club Discussion Group
Join NOMA staff and fellow book lovers as we read and discuss fiction and nonfiction books related to art, artists, art museums, NOMA’s collections and exhibitions. The reading selection for the month of February is Isabella Blow: A Life in Fashion by Lauren Goldstein Crowe.
Museum Highlights Tour

Friday Nights at NOMA opens the museum’s doors for many interesting activities throughout the year: live music, movies, children’s activities, and more. Fashion on Film Series: The Legacy of Alexander McQueen
Five documentaries will be screened in conjunction with the exhibition A Queen Within: Adorned Archetypes, beginning with The Legacy of Alexander McQueen. Using never-before-seen interviews and archival fashion footage, this documentary explores Alexander McQueen’s artistic inspirations through the lens of his last four couture collections.

Fashion on Film Series: Bangaologia: The Science of Style
Five documentaries will be screened in conjunction with the exhibition A Queen Within: Adorned Archetypes. The 2016 film Bangaologia sets out to explore the reason behind the recent growth of the African aesthetic in the world and the fashion arbiters found across the vast continent.

Drawings in Clay: Sgraffito Technique with Rachael DePauw
