All teens are admitted to the museum for free year-round, courtesy of The Helis Foundation. NOMA offers a selection of programming specifically designed for teens.
The NOMA Teen Art Council is a cohort of creative high school students and youth leaders who serve as ambassadors for the museum. Teen Art Council members meet on a weekly basis throughout the school year to plan programming for teen audiences, meet with museum staff, take part in conversations and creative experiences with artworks and artists, and more!
We’re recruiting new members for the 2022-2023 school year!

The Space Between Worlds zine and online gallery are a creative response to the retrospective exhibition of pioneering multimedia artist Dawn DeDeaux.
Teens and their loved ones are invited to visit for a self-guided tour on Saturday, January 22, 2022 to experience the exhibition through the TAC’s
eyes. Visit the online gallery to print your own zine and experience the project from afar.
The NOMA Teen Art Council presents the Teen Photo Challenge: Captured in Quarantine. Teens in New Orleans and beyond were invited to reflect on their experience of current events through the medium of photography. All submissions were reviewed by members of the Teen Art Council and Brian Piper, the Mellon Foundation Assistant Curator of Photography.
