The NOMA Teen Art Council is a diverse group of creative teens that serve as leaders and ambassadors of the museum. Teen Art Council members meet on a weekly basis throughout the school year to engage in arts immersion programming of all kinds: interviews with contemporary artists, meetings and tours with museum staff, art-making workshops, planning and hosting teen events, and more! The TAC is now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year! Click above to visit the TAC page to learn more.
The NOMA Teen Art Council presents the Teen Photo Challenge: Captured in Quarantine. Teens in New Orleans and beyond were invited to reflect on their experience of current events through the medium of photography. All submissions were reviewed by members of the Teen Art Council and Brian Piper, the Mellon Foundation Assistant Curator of Photography.
