Announcement: Due to Covid-19, the majority of teen programs and events for the 2020-2021 school year are being held virtually to continue to protect the safety and well-being of our participants, staff, and volunteers. In-person gatherings will comply with mask and social distancing guidelines.

The NOMA Teen Art Council is a diverse group of creative teens that serve as leaders and ambassadors of the museum. Teen Art Council members meet on a weekly basis throughout the school year to engage in arts immersion programming of all kinds: interviews with contemporary artists, meetings and tours with museum staff, art-making workshops, planning and hosting teen events at the museum, and more! Follow NOMA teens on Instagram @noma_teens to keep up with the TAC’s latest projects.
The NOMA Teen Art Council presents the Teen Photo Challenge: Captured in Quarantine. Teens in New Orleans and beyond were invited to reflect on their experience of current events through the medium of photography. All submissions were reviewed by members of the Teen Art Council and Brian Piper, the Mellon Foundation Assistant Curator of Photography.
