TEEN PASS: Teens are admitted FREE to NOMA year-round, courtesy of The Helis Foundation.
The NOMA Teen Art Council is a diverse group of creative teens that serve as leaders and ambassadors of the museum. Teen Art Council members meet on a weekly basis throughout the school year to engage in arts immersion programming of all kinds: interviews with contemporary artists, meetings and tours with museum staff, art-making workshops, field trips to city arts organizations, planning and implementation of teen events at the museum, and more! Follow NOMA teens on Instagram @noma_teens to keep up with the TAC’s latest projects.
Teen Photo Challenge
The NOMA Teen Art Council presents the Teen Photo Challenge: Captured in Quarantine. Teens in New Orleans and beyond were invited to reflect on their experience of current events through the medium of photography. All submissions were reviewed by members of the Teen Art Council and Brian Piper, the Mellon Foundation Assistant Curator of Photography.
Check out the committees’ selected featured photos on NOMA’s Instagram account.
