Masquerade: Late Night at NOMA

A costume bash replete with live music, a cocktail bar, Carnival parading groups, drag performers, and tours of the exhibition A Life of Seduction: Venice in the 1700s will keep NOMA in a party mode till midnight.

Friday Nights at NOMA | Documentary Film: The Ghost Army | Music by Joe Cabral Thrio

Friday Nights at NOMA presents the documentary film The Ghost Army in tribute to World War II veteran and lifelong printmaking artist Jim Steg, the subject of a NOMA retrospective. Music by The Joe Cabral Thrio, an Art on the Spot family-activity table, and a docent tour are also among the evening's offerings.

Create Late

Exclusively for adults, Create Late allows participants a chance to unwind in an artist-led workshop. Two drink tickets are included in the registration fee.

Friday Nights at NOMA opens the museum’s doors for many interesting activities throughout the year: live music, movies, children’s activities, and more. Regular admission prices apply—NOMA members are FREE—but there is no extra charge for programs or films. New Orleans jazz musician James Singleton will perform and artist Frances Swigart-Steg will discuss the work of her late husband, Jim Steg. The popular Art on the Spot activity table allows families to create together.
