Helen Gillet in Virtual Concert for Mending the Sky
Helen Gillet is a singer-songwriter and surrealist-archaeologist who explores synthesized sounds, textures, and rhythms using an acoustic cello. For Mending the Sky, Gillet will weave together a soundscape using cello, drum machine, sounds in nature, loop pedal, poetry and storytelling.

Music at the Museum with the Louisiana Philharmonic Brass Quintet
Here’s your chance to resume attending live concerts! Join us Thursday evenings in the fall as Louisiana Philharmonic Orchetra chamber ensembles will perform at various museums around town. On November 5, the LPO Brass Ensemble will present an eclectic concert at the amphitheater of the Besthoff Sculpture Garden. Gates open at 5 pm, and the performance begins at 6 pm.
Mozart and the Garden, presented by NOMA and Opéra Nouvelle
The New Orleans Opera and the New Orleans Museum of Art are thrilled to continue a three-year collaborative partnership with the Opéra Nouvelle series. This year’s theme is “Mozart and the Garden.” The concert is free but requires advance registration limited to 100 attendees.
