Gallery Talk: Buddha and Shiva, Lotus and Dragon with Richard Collins, New Orleans Zen Temple – CANCELED
Gallery talks are casual conversations between artists, curators, and other special guests with NOMA visitors frequently scheduled throughout the year. Richard Collins, abbot of the New Orleans Zen Temple, will discuss the exhibition Buddha and Shiva, Lotus and Dragon: Masterworks from the Mr. and Mrs. John D. Rockefeller 3rd Collection at Asia Society.
Collins is a former RosaMary Professor of English at Xavier University and Dean Emeritus of the School of Arts and Humanities at Cal State University Bakersfield, he is the author or editor of several books, including No Fear Zen and Mushotoku Mind: The Heart of the Heart Sutra.
