Teaching Artists

Are you interested in working with NOMA’s encyclopedic collection to inspire activities or experiences? Are you a working artist looking to build your teaching and discussion facilitation skills?

The Learning and Engagement team at the New Orleans Museum of Art is looking to build connections with local teaching artists of various artistic disciplines to host enriching creative experiences for visitors and program participants of all ages.

Complete this form to provide information about your practice and teaching experience with various audiences and we will add you to our directory of teaching artists. We will reference this directory to share professional development opportunities and match prospective teaching artists with contracted teaching opportunities such as drop-in art-making activity stations, workshops, or day camps.

Please note that this interest form is not a comprehensive application for employment at NOMA. Only respondents invited to apply for specific opportunities will be contacted, and may be asked to provide additional materials such as a sample of their work and/or an example lesson plan. Prospective applicants must be compliant with NOMA Covid-19 protocol and be legally eligible to work in the U.S. Please visit noma.org/employment for current openings at NOMA.
