Spark imagination, creativity, and a love of reading. Professional authors, actors and artists bring the world of children’s literature to NOMA in this family program. Family activities are offered after each StoryQuest to encourage museum exploration. Ideal for ages 2-7. No registration is necessary. StoryQuest is included with museum admission. Sculpture Garden Tour
Join NOMA’s docents for a free guided tour of the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden on Saturdays and Mondays, weather dependent, at noon. (Call 504.658.4153 to verify.) Sited on five acres adjacent to the museum, the garden contains more than sixty works by renowned sculptors.

Friday Nights at NOMA returns for an exciting lineup of programs in 2019: live music, movies, children’s activities, and more. From January 19 through March 16, NOMA presents a series of eight mindfulness classes with Dr. Jayashree Rao. Mindfulness is defined as experiencing the present moment with open curiosity, without judgment, and with a willingness to be with what is. Advance registration is required.
