Friday Nights at NOMA opens the museum’s doors for many interesting activities throughout the year: live music, movies, children’s activities, and more. Regular admission prices apply—NOMA members are FREE—but there is no extra charge for programs or films. All galleries, special exhibitions, Café NOMA and the Museum Shop are open till 9 pm.

Joanne Petit-Frére takes sculpture into new realms with her incredibly complex hair designs, which call upon influences as diverse as math, nature, engineering, chemistry, garment construction, Old World architecture, Africa, and the Americas.

These brief informal sessions enrich the visitor experience and allow visitors to learn more about artworks in our permanent holdings as well as those on view in temporary exhibitions. Sculpture Garden Tour

Join NOMA’s docents for a free guided tour of the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden on Saturdays at noon through mid-June. Sited on five acres adjacent to the museum, the garden contains more than 60 works by renowned sculptors placed among a picturesque mature grove of pine, magnolia, and moss-draped live oak trees bisected by a lagoon.
