Family Festival – “Play it Cool”
Take a break from the summer heat and bring the whole family to NOMA for a special festival with indoor activities for all ages. Admission will be free from 10 am to 3 pm and the day will be filled with family-oriented activities.

A free family festival will be held in the expansion of the Besthoff Sculpture Garden with programs that focus on the body, physical play, and the environment as it relates to art making.
Virtual Family Festival: Courage and Care
Please join us for NOMA’s very first Virtual Family Festival! Since we can’t be together in person, we’ve partnered with local organizations and creatives to bring you on-screen fun at home. We’re exploring what it means to have courage and to take care of ourselves and one another.

Family Day: Say Cheese!
Kids and their grown-ups are invited for a day of free family fun at the museum! Explore all things photography—on both sides of the camera. Pose for a photo at our artist-run pop-up, visit the museum’s galleries, enjoy a time-hopping musical performance by Little Stompers, get creative with art-making activities, and more.

Kids and their grown ups are invited for a day of family fun inspired by Black Orpheus: Jacob Lawrence and the Mbari Club.Imagine the sights and sounds of the streets and marketplaces he visited through your own visit to the galleries, and participate in art-making and activities with the whole family!
Family Day: A Walk in the Garden
Enjoy a fun-filled visit to the museum with the whole family! Family days take place two times per year, and are packed with activities, art-making, performances, and more. No admission, materials, or registration fees are required.
