Join us at the museum on select Saturday mornings for Studio KIDS! youth and pre-teen art-making workshops. We’ll take inspiration from an artwork in the galleries or garden, then return to the studio to make our own creations with a teaching artist. Registration is required and includes all art-making materials.

Young artists will take inspiration from Wind Sculpture by Yinka Shonibare in the Besthoff Sculpture Garden to make their own mobiles that give shape to the wind. Participants will embed their own patterns, influenced by fabrics that are important to them, into sculptural mobiles.
