Located at One Collins Diboll Circle in City Park, the New Orleans Museum of Art is easy to find. Arrive by car, bike, bus or streetcar. Ample free parking is available in front of NOMA on Lelong Drive or behind the Besthoff Sculpture Garden.
By Car
From I-10 West/Baton Rouge
Take Exit 231A toward City Park/Metairie Road.
Turn left onto City Park Ave away from Metairie Road. Continue down City Park Avenue past Canal and Delgado Community College. Turn left onto N. Carrollton Ave from City Park Avenue. Turn left at Esplanade Avenue. You are facing Lelong Drive and NOMA.
From I-10 East/Downtown
Take the Carrollton Ave North, Exit 232, toward US-61/Tulane Avenue. Merge onto S. Carrollton Avenue. Continue 1.6 miles. Turn left at Esplanade Avenue. You are facing Lelong Drive and NOMA.
Parking
Parking is always free on Lelong Drive and the streets surrounding NOMA within City Park. Handicap spaces are reserved at the front of the museum adjacent an entrance ramp. NOMA is also located near numerous attractions within City Park. The handicap entrances are located on the left and right side of the museum near Café NOMA and the NOMA Museum Shop. Ramps at the main museum entrance stairs lead to a courtyard. Ring the buzzer on the door and security staff will allow entry. Please call 504.658.4105 if you require additional assistance.
By Taxi or Ride Share

By Bike
NOMA is less than 5 miles from downtown and the historic French Quarter, so a bike is a great way to travel and see the sights of the city along the way. New Orleans is a bike-friendly city with several convenient bike rentals available.

The Canal–City Park streetcar line terminates at the intersection of Wisner Avenue and Esplanade Street, within a short walking distance of NOMA and the Besthoff Sculpture Garden. Click here for the streetcar schedule.
