FRANK GEHRY: 1929-2025⁠ ⁠ A globally-celebrated master of architecture, Frank Gehry was also an accomplished artist and designer. During his career, which spanned over five decades, he utilized pioneering new technologies and complex materials across his architectural and artistic works. Art and architecture, for Gehry, had much to say to one another, and he often engaged in one form in such a way as to illuminate its parallels with the other. ⁠ ⁠ Gehry's 2014 sculpture "Bear with Us," playfully named after the subject of the work, is constructed of stainless steel which mimics the jagged, reflective effects of a creased aluminum sheet.
