At this point in the construction process, the most prominent element of the Sculpture Garden Expansion is the sculpture pavilion structure. There is now steel up in the expansion area, giving visitors an exciting vision of what the sculpture pavilion will look like.

Construction teams have created landforms to build out the two islands that will be part of the Sculpture Garden Expansion landscape.

Landscaping work is also now underway. A few browning pine trees have been planted on the site to help placement of healthy trees, which will be planted after the summer months. These pine trees will be moved around to help landscapers determine where the final trees will be planted, once the weather is more suitable for plating.

NOMA looks forward to an ongoing dialog with our neighbors as the expansion project progresses. To get involved, ask questions or request further information, please contact Margaux Krane at press@noma.org.
