NOMA launches donation drive for Hurricane Harvey victims

 

In the wake of flooding in Texas from Hurricane Harvey, the New Orleans Museum of Art is partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank to host a donation drive of nonperishable food, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene products to alleviate the needs of those affected by the storm. The following items may be dropped off at the front desk during all museum hours, including Friday Nights at NOMA. No admission fee is required.

NONPERISHABLE FOOD

  • Canned vegetables and fruits
  • Canned meat (tuna and chicken)
  • Canned soups/stews
  • Canned beans
  • Canned chili
  • Cereal
  • Ensure & PediaSure
  • Pasta
  • Peanut butter
  • Protein bars/Granola

CLEANING SUPPLIES

  • Gloves
  • Scrub brushes
  • Sponges
  • Trash bags

OTHER

  • Diapers
  • Feminine Hygiene Products
