We have exciting news at NOMA. As of July 1, 2023, we are updating our membership program to be more intentional and impactful in pursuit of our institutional mission to present meaningful arts experiences that inspire communities in New Orleans and beyond.
All of this is possible through membership. No matter your level, all memberships include:
- Unlimited admission to the museum’s galleries, including special exhibitions, and the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden.
- Invitations to exclusive exhibition previews and member-only events throughout the year.
- Discounted tickets to special events and programs including concerts, performances, art-making classes, festivals, and fundraisers such as LOVE in the Garden.
- A 10% discount in the NOMA Museum Shop online and in person.
- Reduced prices for wellness classes in the Besthoff Sculpture Garden.
If you join as a member at our current levels before July 1, 2023, your membership benefits will correspond to the new membership levels below.

Museum Members
Members are the foundation of NOMA’s support system, with gifts that provide broad support for the museum’s mission.
Individual Membership
$75 per year
The classic NOMA membership is great for individuals who visit the museum regularly and want to take advantage of special prices to programs and discounts in the NOMA Museum Shop.

Dual Membership
$125 per year
Similar to our individual membership, this option is great for two people who want to join together. A similar membership level was previously called Friends and Family.

Sustaining Membership
$200 per year or $17 monthly payments
Make the most of your annual membership at this level, which provides free admission for two named account holders plus two guests at each visit. This membership is a great fit for those who would like to bring friends and family with you each time you visit the museum.

Museum Ambassadors
Ambassador members are champions of NOMA’s mission to inspire lifelong learning through the arts. At these levels, your membership provides greater support for the museum’s world-class exhibitions, innovative programming, and dynamic community engagement initiatives.
Ambassadors
$400 annually or $34 monthly payments
Show your support of NOMA in New Orleans and around the world. Ambassadors take advantage of reciprocal benefits at the largest number of museums in the United States and abroad. This new membership level combines two previous groups: Benefactors and Friends of the Sculpture Garden.

The Contemporaries are NOMA’s most vibrant supporters ages 21–45. This group is perfect for anyone looking to meet like-minded members and gain insider access to the museum through private tours, special programs, and more. The Contemporaries were previously called the Young Fellows. Young Fellows Individual and Dual membership are combined at this new level.

This new level for members ages 21–30 provides all the benefits of an individual membership with special access to one Contemporaries event each calendar year. This membership level is designed for young members who are looking to get involved with the museum and meet other NOMA supporters.

Fellows and Circles patrons provide the greatest support to NOMA and solidify our impact on the arts in New Orleans and the Gulf South. Fellows and Circles patrons play an integral role in all that NOMA does—from presenting groundbreaking exhibitions to offering thoughtful education programs to students in New Orleans and beyond.
Fellows
$1,500 annually
Show your support for NOMA’s present and future. Fellows play an integral role in everything NOMA does, and patrons at this level receive early access to exhibitions and invitations to special events.
