Join us for a special showcase highlighting the work of participants in our Art Thrives printmaking course offered in conjunction with the Black Orpheus: Jacob Lawrence and the Mbari Club exhibition.

NOMA’s Art Thrives program aims to create opportunities exclusively for adults ages 55 and up to learn new creative skills while building community and having fun in the process. Over eight weeks, participants worked with teaching artist, Belinda Tanno and to learn the tools, processes, media, and techniques of printmaking, while examining prints in the museum’s extensive collection.

The work will be on view in NOMA’s Lapis Center for the Arts on Wednesday, May 3, 10 am–4 pm.
