Beginning January 1, 2026, general admission to the New Orleans Museum of Art will be $18 for Louisiana residents and $23 for out-of-state visitors. NOMA’s Besthoff Sculpture Garden will remain free and open to all, seven days a week.
This $3 increase to general admission pricing supports the museum’s continuing ability to provide world-class exhibitions, offer dynamic programming for all ages, and care for a collection of nearly 50,000 works of art from around the world.
Louisiana residents can take advantage of free admission every Wednesday, courtesy of The Helis Foundation’s Art for All program. Visitors ages 19 and under receive free admission every day, with support for youth ages 13–19 from The Helis Foundation.

NOMA members receive free admission to the museum and special exhibitions, and membership rates remain the same for 2026. Joining NOMA as a member supports the museum’s mission to present meaningful arts experiences that inspire communities in New Orleans and beyond.
