Teen Takeover Night: Sound and Color
Fri, February 27th at 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

NOMA’s Teen Art Council takes over the museum for a night celebrating youth, creativity, and connection. Inspired by the exhibition Hayward Oubre: Structural Integrity, this year’s “Sound and Color” event features opportunities to engage with the exhibition, relax with friends, and connect with creative teens from across the city.
Featuring:
Live music from local, teen-led band Beverly Hills Polo Club
Art-making activities inspired by the exhibition Hayward Oubre: Structural Integrity
Opportunities to connect with HBCUs including Xavier, Dillard, and SUNO
A raffle for prizes from the NOMA Museum Shop and other organizations
Food available for purchase from Crepes a la Carte and light bites from Café NOMA
and more!
Admission and programming are free for teens. Advanced registration is encouraged. Only adults affiliated with a teen attendee are permitted to attend.
Teen Takeover Night is designed by NOMA’s Teen Art Council (TAC)—by teens, for teens. For more information about TAC, visit noma.org/teens or email education@noma.org.
