Hattie, a Houston native, graduated from Texas Christian University in 2008 with degrees in Art History & Arts Administration. Following graduation, she moved to New Orleans where she earned her Masters Degree in Art History from Tulane University. In the spring of 2012, she opened her eponymous store, Hattie Sparks, Uptown on Adams Street. Hattie Sparks is known for its commitment to emerging designers and artists as well as serving as a destination where a shopper can quite literally outfit her entire life.
