Self-Guided Tour for Teens | Dawn DeDeaux: The Space Between Worlds
NOMA’s Teen Art Council invites you to experience Dawn DeDeaux: The Space Between Worlds through their eyes. Visit NOMA on Saturday, January 22, and pick up a free zine from the TAC featuring original artwork, and activities to make the most of your visit. TAC members will be on hand from 12 pm to 3 pm to share their experiences learning about DeDeaux’s work and creating their own art in response.

Member Evening Celebrating Queen Nefertari’s Egypt

This exhibition brings to life the role of Nefertari and other powerful women in ancient Egypt through 230 exceptional objects drawn from the collection of the Museo Egizio in Turin. These include statues, jewelry, vases, papyrus, steles, wooden coffins, and stone sarcophagi, as well as tools and various items of daily life from the artisan village of Deir-el-Medina, home to those who created the royal tombs.

Art in Bloom 2022: In Full Bloom Presented by First Horizon
One of the most anticipated springtime events in New Orleans, Art in Bloom showcases spectacular floral designs created by garden clubs, floral designers, and creative talents from New Orleans and beyond. This year’s theme, In Full Bloom, celebrates, through floral expression, the joy of returning to our pre-pandemic way of life. In addition to fabulous floral installations on view for for five days at NOMA, Queen Nefertari’s Egypt will also be on display during Art in Bloom. Nefertari, the royal wife of Pharaoh Ramesses II, is linked to some of the most magnificent monuments of ancient Egypt.
Artful Palate with Café NOMA
