Summer Art Camp 2026: Session 1

An event every day that begins at 9:00 AM, repeating until Thu, June 18th, 2026

Campers will embark on an exciting summer adventure at NOMA, exploring 5,000 years of art through our permanent collection, special exhibitions, and the Besthoff Sculpture Garden. With an interdisciplinary approach to creative thinking and art-making, campers will engage in a variety of artistic mediums and activities, including drawing, painting, movement, sculpture, and more. Each camp session is unique, yet all are centered on the joy of art exploration, creation, and fun—all located conveniently within New Orleans City Park.
Designed for students ages 5–12. Space is limited to 25 campers per week.
Summer Art Camp Session 1: Monday, June 15 – Thursday, June 18 (no camp on Friday, June 19, in observation of Juneteenth)
Member Registration $240, General Registration $320

Campers should come to camp each day with sunscreen pre-applied, a water bottle, snack, lunch, and an extra layer.
At the end of each week, campers will celebrate and show off their work with each other.
