Join us at the museum on select Saturday mornings for Studio KIDS! youth art-making workshops. We’ll take inspiration from artwork in the museum and the Besthoff Sculpture Garden and make our own creations with a teaching artist.
About Studio KIDS!: Tinker Hatfield
In this upcoming Studio KIDS! workshop, students will be introduced to the art and design work of Tinker Hatfield, a designer known for his numerous Air Jordan designs. Students will explore artwork across NOMA’s galleries to find inspiration for their own designs. After discussing the elements and principles of art and design, students will incorporate the artwork at NOMA into their Hatfield-inspired shoe designs. This art education experience is designed for children ages 11-14.
Registration is $30; $25 for members. Advance registration is required and includes all art-making materials.
