Mahj at the Museum

The NOMA Volunteer Committee invites you to Mahj at the Museum, a mahjong tournament benefitting the New Orleans Museum of Art featuring social and tournament play for players of all experience levels, lunch, cocktails, and more.

Tickets
Tickets for Mahj at the Museum are $250.
The ticket price includes attendance at the Welcome Reception on Sunday, September 27, and the Tournament on Monday, September 28.
Please note: Limited tickets are available. Tickets must be purchased online. Checks are not an accepted form of payment for this event. Tickets are nonrefundable. In the event of inclement weather or for any unforeseen circumstances, your ticket purchase will be considered a 100% tax-deductible donation to NOMA.

Welcome Reception
Sunday, September 27 | 12:30 – 2 pm
Meet and mingle with other players ahead of Monday’s tournament. Mimosas and light bites will be served.
Mahjong Open Play & Tournament, Directed by Mandeville Mahj
Monday, September 28 | 8 am – 5 pm
Support NOMA with a day of mahjong play for all experience levels. The event includes both social and tournament play (directed by Mandeville Mahj), lunch, and a celebratory cocktail hour. Winners of the tournament will be announced at the end of the day. Prizes will be available for the top three winners of the tournament. The tournament will follow National Mah Jongg League, Inc. rules, and players are encouraged to bring their 2026 cards.
