ABOUT PETER BJÖRN KERBER AND VENICE IN THE 1700S
In conjunction with the exhibition A Life of Seduction: Venice in the 1700s, Peter Björn Kerber, an assistant curator at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, will discuss the Italian city’s artistic and performing arts scene of the 18th-century. He specializes in European, and particularly Italian, painting between 1600 and 1800. He is the author of Eyewitness Views: Making History in Eighteenth-Century Europe.
