Art Thrives invites participants ages 55 and above to an eight-week ceramics and wire art course where they will learn about the meaning of materiality in artistic practice, as well as about the artwork of Hayward Oubre. Along with a guided tour of the exhibition Hayward Oubre: Structural Integrity, participants will explore artwork across NOMA’s galleries and engage in meaningful conversations about their own artistic practices, Oubre’s work, and other artists’ work.
This workshop is $55 for NOMA members and $65 for all other participants.
Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions, as the content will build on creating a comprehensive piece.
