What benefits do NOMA volunteers receive?

As a current volunteer, volunteers are eligible for:

• Invitations to NOMA’s annual volunteer appreciation luncheon 

• invitations to curator-led lectures on museum exhibitions

• 10% discount in the NOMA Museum Shop

• 10% discount in Café NOMA

• Free admission including special exhibitions for the volunteer

Does volunteering at NOMA count toward community service hours for my school?

NOMA offers volunteer opportunities for students 16 and older, including juniors and seniors in high school. A number of local schools have approved NOMA as a place for students to complete required community service hours, and students who are attempting to complete those hours should check with their school to ensure that NOMA is an approved opportunity. 

Does NOMA offer opportunities for volunteer groups?

NOMA hosts corporate, school, and other groups who are interested in volunteering. Groups may volunteer once or twice a year for specific projects such as fundraising events and programs. Additionally, we often host groups in the Besthoff Sculpture Garden to help with volunteering. To inquire about group volunteer opportunities, please email volunteer@noma.org.
