The summer of 2020 was a busy one for our families participating in NOMA’s Hot Art, Cool Kids: Summer Art Kit program! Young artists gathered virtually for a 6- week exploration to look closely, discuss, and get inspired by NOMA artworks, then create their own projects together. Each week, we explored a different topic within our big idea for the summer: creating a whole greater than the sum of its parts. Like thousands of individual tiles coming together to form a dazzling mosaic, we each play a part in creating a larger, ever-complex and beautiful world.
We hope you’ll enjoy this snapshot into young artists’ summer experience!
