One of the most anticipated springtime events in New Orleans, Art in Bloom Presented by First Horizon Bank showcases spectacular floral designs created by garden clubs, floral designers, and creative talents from New Orleans and beyond. Take in fabulous floral installations throughout the museum, learn directly from today’s top design talents, and celebrate spring during the luncheon and fashion show.
This year’s event, themed “Les Jardins de la Nouvelle-Orléans,” takes inspiration from the influence of French gardens on our city.

Lecture Series
Thursday, March 27, 9:30 and 10:45 am, in NOMA’s Lapis Center for the Arts
This year’s speakers are influential figures in interior and floral design. Mieke ten Have is an interior stylist, design writer, and creative consultant. Ten Have’s extensive editorial background includes contributions to Vogue, Elle and Architectural Digest. The dynamic mother-daughter duo Susan Crater and Eliza Crater Harris of Sister Parish Design lead the renowned American heritage textile and wallcovering brand.
Luncheon and Fashion Show Sponsored by SOSUSU
Thursday, March 27, 12:30 pm, in the Pavilion of the Two Sisters in New Orleans City Park
The annual luncheon and fashion show sponsored by SOSUSU will feature designer La Fuori.

The Art in Bloom silent auctions showcases a variety of original works of art from established artists and emerging talents. This year’s featured artist is Saskia Ozols.
