Description

Female figure with almond-shaped eyes, down turned mouth and conical headgear, seated on a traditional Asante stool. Figure is nude except for a banded sash around waist. Seated on her lap is a small nude child who is suckling on female's protruding bullet-shaped breasts. Female's proper right hand is raised to her proper left breast. Both figures have ample traces of white pigment, possibly kaolin, overall, while there appear traces of blue pigment on headgear and stool.
