Teen Volunteer Opportunities

Teen Day of Service

Teens of all ages are invited to this monthly day of service in the sculpture garden. No chaperones are required.

Dates:  Saturdays: January 25, February 29, March 28, April 25
Time: 8:30am-11:30am
Location: Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden
Clothing: Closed toed shoes and clothing that can get dirty

Teen Camp Counselors

NOMA seeks enthusiastic, hard-working, creative teen volunteers to be camp counselors. Volunteering in NOMA’s summer art camps provides teens with professional experience in an interdisciplinary art environment. Teens will not only learn more about art, but will also have the opportunity to work closely with professional teaching artists and discover museum career opportunities—all while earning valuable community-service experience.   • Two letters of recommendation from teachers
  • Interview
  • Must be age 16+ or a rising junior
  •  Please indicate camp sessions / dates of interest to you

Teens will receive:

  • Professional experience in a museum and art camp setting
  • Exposure to museum careers
