DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the Patrick F. Taylor Foundation\, NOMA presents an annual family day for Taylor Scholars. Students in the Taylor Scholars program and educators across Louisiana are invited to explore the museum and participate in art-making activities throughout the day. \nThe NOMA Museum Shop will also be offering a free gift with purchase to Taylor Scholars and educators this day. \nNo registration is required to attend Taylor Scholars Day. Students will explore artwork across NOMA’s galleries to find inspiration for their own designs. Read more.  \nAbout ÌFÉ\nNew Orleans-based African American producer and percussionist ÌFÉ blends elements of Afro-Cuban folklore and Yoruban religious music with the sounds of modern day Jamaican Dancehall\, Trap and AfroBeats. The single most important electronic act in Afro-Caribbean music today\, ÌFÉ’s long awaited sophomore album 0000+0000 was released to worldwide critical acclaim in November of 2021. His new album is scheduled for release in the Spring of 2025.
