DESCRIPTION:The NOMA Volunteer Committee invites you to Mahj at the Museum\, a mahjong tournament benefitting the New Orleans Museum of Art featuring social and tournament play for players of all experience levels\, lunch\, cocktails\, and more. \nEvent Chair | Kimberly Zibilich\nNOMA Volunteer Committee Chair | Jennifer Rowland\nEvent Committee | Carla Adams and Mimi Schlesinger\n\nTickets\nTickets for Mahj at the Museum are $250. \nThe ticket price includes attendance at the Welcome Reception on Sunday\, September 27\, and the Tournament on Monday\, September 28. \nGet your tickets \nPlease note: Limited tickets are available. Tickets must be purchased online. Checks are not an accepted form of payment for this event. Tickets are nonrefundable. In the event of inclement weather or for any unforeseen circumstances\, your ticket purchase will be considered a 100% tax-deductible donation to NOMA. \nFor all inquiries\, please email mahj@noma.org or call 504-658-4141. \n\nEvent Details and Schedule\nWelcome Reception\nSunday\, September 27 | 12:30 – 2 pm \nMeet and mingle with other players ahead of Monday’s tournament. Mimosas and light bites will be served. \nMahjong Open Play & Tournament\, Directed by Mandeville Mahj\nMonday\, September 28 | 8 am – 5 pm \nSupport NOMA with a day of mahjong play for all experience levels. The event includes both social and tournament play (directed by Mandeville Mahj)\, lunch\, and a celebratory cocktail hour. Winners of the tournament will be announced at the end of the day. Prizes will be available for the top three winners of the tournament.
