About the Instructor
Dawn Pettingill, RNC-OB, C-ONQS, RYT 200 invites her students to reconnect with the heart through gentle movements, intentional breath practices, and yogic philosophy. She is a Registered Nurse and a graduate of Wild Lotus Living Yoga Teacher Training. Dawn views yoga as an opportunity to explore the relationship with the mind and body with compassion and curiosity rather than judgement. Her classes offer an opportunity to slow down, turn inward, and cultivate a deeper sense of connection, presence, and trust within ourselves.
When Dawn is not teaching or working at the hospital, you can find her daydreaming about the mountains or cuddled up with a book in a “rest nest” of props at Wild Lotus. She loves to go on adventures with her husband and two boys while finding moments of wonder, rest, and connection along the way.
