NOMA’s Art Thrives program creates opportunities exclusively for adults ages 55 and up to learn new skills while building community and having fun. Drawing on Sculpture is a workshop that will guide you from sketching in the Besthoff Sculpture Garden to creating sculpture in our art studio as you learn how to think and work in three dimensions. This workshop will be taught over three Saturdays on September 23, September 30, and October 7 by teaching artist Chicory Miles. Using a variety of materials, you will learn to understand the lines, shapes, and forms in space.
