Art Thrives: Digital Photography (Ages 55 and Up)

Tue, December 13th, 2022 at 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

NOMA’s Art Thrives program aims to create opportunities exclusively for adults ages 55 and up to learn new creative skills while building community and having fun in the process. In conjunction with Called to the Camera: Black American Studio Photographers, on view through January 8, we invite you to join us for an eight-session digital photography course.

Over four weeks, participants will work with professional teaching artists and museum staff to explore a diverse range of photographic processes as a catalyst for inspiration. Workshops will focus on history, techniques, aesthetics, and practice. Teaching Artists include Tiffany Smith, Jonathan Traviesa, Ariya Aladjem Wolf, and Camille Farrah Lenain.

No photography experience or prior knowledge is necessary to participate. Space is limited and advanced registration is required
