Getting Here

Located at One Collins Diboll Circle in City Park,
the New Orleans Museum of Art is easy to find.
Arrive by car, taxi, bike, bus or the Canal Streetcar.

Ample free parking is available in front of NOMA on
Lelong Drive or behind the Besthoff Sculpture Garden.

From I-10 West/Baton Rouge
Take Exit 231A toward City Park/Metairie Road.
Turn left onto City Park Ave away from Metairie Road. Continue down City Park Avenue past Canal and Delgado Community College. Turn left onto N. Carrollton Ave from City Park Avenue. Turn left at Esplanade Avenue. You are facing Lelong Drive and NOMA.

From I-10 East/Downtown
Take the Carrollton Ave North, Exit 232, toward US-61/Tulane Avenue. Merge onto S. Carrollton Avenue. Continue 1.6 miles. Turn left at Esplanade Avenue. You are facing Lelong Drive and NOMA.

It will take about 15 minutes to arrive at NOMA by cab from downtown New Orleans/French Quarter and costs around $20, depending on the size of your party. Ask the cabbie to take you to the New Orleans Museum of Art in City Park. Click here for more information about local cab companies.

NOMA is less than 5 miles from downtown and the historic French Quarter, so a bike is a great way to travel and see the sights of the city along the way. Canal Streetcar
From Canal Street or the Mississippi Riverfront, hop on the red streetcars that say CITY PARK, where you will arrive at the foot of Lelong Drive, just steps away from NOMA. One-way fares are $1.25 each and must be paid with exact change when you board. Click here for the streetcar schedule that takes you to NOMA and City Park!

Buses and streetcars are operated by the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority. City bus lines offer a convenient, affordable way to get to NOMA and City Park. For $1.25 one-way you can get to NOMA via line 91 Jackson-Esplanade. Click here for a bus schedule.
