Joan Hornig Jewelry always gives 100% of the profits from each piece of jewelry to charity.
Through the local SAKS Fifth Avenue store, which carries our full line, we have established a
strong presence and loyal clientele with the people of New Orleans. And so to express our support
for NOMA's work in using art to benefit others, Joan Hornig Jewelry will donate all profits from the
sales of the Fleur de-lis Collection to NOMA.
The Fleur-de-lis Collection
We have captured the essence of the fleur-de-lis—the official symbol of the state of Louisiana and now
a poignant reminder to support New Orleans' recovery—in Sterling Silver and engraved it with the message,
"Giving is Fundamental." Sales from the Sterling Silver fleur-de-lis can support the museum in two ways:
through a necklace or a bookmark. As a necklace, the fleur-de-lis comes with an "invisible" chain made of
finely woven links that allow the "Giving is Fundamental" message to shine through. As a bookmark, a navy
blue ribbon accented with a white stitched border intertwines the fleur-de-lis to create a sophisticated yet
unique reminder of the beauty of giving.
