Saturday, 9pm-1am November 12, 2011

This November 12th the New Orleans Museum of Art will celebrate its 100th anniversary with the Centennial Odyssey Ball, “2011…A NOMA Odyssey.”

In our first century NOMA built a world collection, and expansive facility, and gained recognition as the finest art museum in the mid-South. This year’s Odyssey Ball will mark the opening of NOMA 100: Gifts for the Second Century. It will be an exhibition of extraordinary additions to our permanent collection, given in celebration of our first century and the commencement of our second.

Deacon John will take center stage at the Ball and will provide the best musical sounds around! Extraordinary international cuisine, a Live and Silent Auction, valet parking, in addition to the opening of the new exhibition given by NOMA friends and family, will collectively create a giant leap into our next 100 years!
