About Jim Richard: Make Yourself at Home
NOMA is pleased to present a solo exhibition of paintings by renowned New Orleans artist Jim Richard. This exhibition, the artist’s first solo exhibition at NOMA since 1978, focuses on the subject Richard is best known and admired for: interior scenes bursting with works of art and colorful décor. His work straddles the line between celebrating and critiquing kitsch and rampant consumer culture. The twelve paintings on display provide an exceptional opportunity to view a large range of the artist’s work covering the last twenty years of his career, and also debuts a number of paintings that have never been shown to the public before.

About Greg DiLeo
Greg DiLeo, a local trial attorney (Your Legal Minute), has also been a singer, songwriter and actor on the New Orleans area stages for many years. His new CD release, Hurrikenesis, a collection of ten of his original compositions, is currently available for download on iTunes along with two of his originals which feature Terry McDermott, star of NBC’s The Voice on backing vocals. When performing, his acoustic sets include a wide variety of not only his original songs, but also classic rock covers. Most notably, Greg’s Beatles 4Ever show, which ran for twenty-six weeks to wide public and critical acclaim, demonstrated his talents as a singer/guitarist at True Brew and Le Chat Noir.
