Join us Friday, November 30th at 7:30pm for a screening of My Louisiana Love, a documentary by Sharon Linezo Hong, Mark Krasnoff & Monique Michelle Verdin (Q&A to follow).

About My Louisiana Love
(Running time is approximately 1 hour)
My Louisiana Love traces photographer Monique Verdin’s quest to find a place in her Native American community as it reels from decades of environmental degradation. A look at the complex and uneven relationship between the oil industry and the indigenous community of the Mississippi Delta, it is both unique and frighteningly familiar. My Louisiana Love is a modern story of love, loss, and resilience in Southeast Louisiana.

Produced by Within A Sense, LLC for a presentation of Native American Public Telecommunications, Inc (NAPT).

All programming is included with Museum admission.
